Black Lace Masquerade wedding website

A dusty mauve envelope with a black lace flap, a black satin ribbon and a black lace mask, and your portrait in a lace-edged oval under plum roses.

What your guests see after the envelope opens

Dusty mauve cotton paper, an original black Chantilly-style lace, a black satin ribbon, deep plum roses and black-purple callas, soft pewter details and one black lace mask. Mysterious, romantic and candlelit rather than spooky, it suits a Halloween wedding, a masquerade ball or an evening celebration in an old palazzo, hall or ballroom.

Our Story
Your photos in mauve mats with a strip of black lace along the top and a black feather on the corner; moving to the next one, a band of lace sweeps across and reveals it.

The day on a tall card with a black lace top and fine pewter pictures that draw themselves in, a little Venetian mask for the ball, the dress code, your venue in a wide lace-topped mat, an optional map, travel, menu, registry and questions and answers.
RSVP
A reply card with a black lace top, your reply-by date and the configurable RSVP form; the little lace mask rests on its corner beside a plum rose and slides in again when a guest replies.

The opening

How Black Lace Masquerade opens

Your guests tap the envelope. A soft light runs along the jet beads of the black lace mask, the mask lifts off and floats away and the satin ribbon slips down, then the lace flap opens onto its plum satin lining. The card rises, turns upright and comes forward large while plum petals and a black feather drift down, so guests can read your names before it becomes your home page.

This is a real screen recording of the design with demo content (Vivienne & Dorian are fictional). Guests can skip the animation, and on a phone set to reduce motion a tap goes straight to the home page.

Questions about Black Lace Masquerade

Can I change the colors of Black Lace Masquerade?

No. The artwork and colors stay as designed, because the envelope, cards and frames are painted to match. You change the content: names, details, photos and questions, and you can choose the lettering. See all designs to compare palettes.

How many photos can I add?

5: a portrait on the invitation card, 3 photos for Our Story and one of the venue. You crop each one to its frame in the panel, on your phone. Our Story can be switched off if you prefer fewer photos.

Does it work without photos?

Yes. Until you add your own, each photo spot shows a soft, neutral image made from the design's artwork, never a sample couple. The "Your photo here" label is only visible to you in preview, not to guests.

Is there a matching save the date?

Not yet. You can share your website link early, as a digital save the date, and add the full details later: guests always see the latest version. Read about timing.
